Religion founded by Bahá'u'lláh in 1860s Persia. It is monotheistic and emphasizes the unity of all religions and all peoples. The word "Baha'i" is from the Persian for "glory" and taken from the name of Bahá'u'lláh, founder of the Bahá'í Faith. It is used both as an adjective to describe something pertaining to the Bahá'í Faith and as a noun to refer to a follower of the Bahá'í Faith.
