Sarah Palin is a Christian.

Palin was the former mayor of Alaska who was John McCain’s running mate in the 2008 Presidential elections.

Palin’s parents were Roman Catholic, yet in her adult life she gravitated toward Protestant expressions of Christianity. She and her husband Todd and their children attended a Pentecostal church in Wasilla, Alaska until 2002. Spokespeople for the McCain-Palin campaign noted that wasn’t a Pentecostal Christian.

After attending Wasilla Assembly of God, her family went to Wasilla Bible Church. When she is in Juneau, Alaska, she reportedly frequents the Juneau Christian Center.
