Online Text of the Qur'an

Many translations of the Qur'an have been made over the years by both Muslim and non-Muslim scholars. The translation chosen for this library was done by Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall (1875-1936) in 1930. It was chosen for its availability and reputation as a quality translation.

This online translation is intended primarily to introduce non-Muslims to the contents of the Qur'an. Other translations may be more accurate or better suited to religious uses.
