Hades

Hades is not one of the 12 Olympian gods, but only because his abode is the underworld and not Mount Olympus. He is the god of the underworld. The corresponding Roman god was Pluto, Dis Pater or Orcus; the corresponding Etruscan god was Aita. In Norse mythology the goddess Hel ruled the Underworld.
